My life has been a muse for my work, as I have lived through many circumstances that have threatened to silence my voice. From being bullied as a child to witnessing domestic violence as a young woman, my personal story is one that testifies to the reliance of any woman who refuses to give
up. I have had to constantly count myself in when others have counted me out, and my experiences have granted me wisdom and a don’t-stop spirit.
